There are some telemarketing rules and code of ethics in this industry as many people describe this as annoying because of the time of the call which sometimes falls on the dinner time, early in the mornings, office hours and late in the evenings. Companies who use this as a sales tools are to follow the states rule on “DO NOT CALL" policy which means that they can't call the numbers which are on this list.
