A consultant is a person who possesses special knowledge or skills and provide that expertise to a client for a fee. Consultant is a person who helps the businesses with the implementing of the solutions to their problems in many areas such as business startup, marketing, manufacturing, strategy, organization structure, health and safety, environmental compliance, technology and communication. Some of them are self employed or freelance; some are working in big companies or consulting firms that offer their skills and expertise in a wide range of business areas. Many companies hired consultant considering the business climate nowadays. Outsourcing consultants is a great help to those business who are facing a problems on their manpower to complete the necessary tasks, the advancement of technology that has outpaced many companie’s level of expertise. Consultant serves as the trouble shooter to the company’s problem, he is the one who study the situation of the company, find way where the problem start and gives solutions to the problem. Hiring a consultant is not a light decision, first the owner of the company should really think if they need a consultant to help to solve the problems, if so they have to cooperate to the consultant so it will be a successful decision that the owner made. Hiring a consultant pays lot, it depends on the contract before the start of the project, some of them charge based on the situation, some of them may provide bracket quotations, some charge the client is a monthly retailers which covers all the necessary services for that month, some are based on daily billing rates which reflects the value they placed on one day's labor and some additional and some consultants may estimate the amount of time needed and quote a client fix fee. After implementing the consultant's recommendations the client company should evaluate the success of the consulting experience so that the lessons can be use in solving the future problems.
